“…Con el objetivo de Determinar el nivel de conocimiento teórico – práctico que poseen los maestros y maestras, del Sistema Braille y Lengua de Señas Salvadoreñas de la zona rural del Municipio de Intipucá, Departamento de La Unión, se realiza una investigación cualitativa que se enfoca en comprender los fenómenos, explorándolos desde la perspectiva de los participantes en un ambiente natural y en relación con su contexto. Al finalizar la investigación se llega a la conclusión de que los docentes no poseen ningún tipo de formación curricular en la atención de niño y niñas con discapacidad visual y auditiva, esto conlleva a que el nivel de conocimiento teórico -práctico sea nulo, lo cual tiene como resultado la limitante de no aplicarlos en la sala de aula ABSTRACT: In the Schools, different subjects are taught and one of them is language, which is part of linguistics and communication, proper writing and correct manner of speaking allows our way of communicating and interacting with others to be effective. …”
