Resumen:Cloud computing technology has emerged as a major breakthrough for libraries offering various cloud-based services on web environment, and therefore libraries are adopting this technology for various purposes. In this respect, this study provides perceptions of libraries towards adoption, use, and future perspective of cloud computing technology. The results of this study revealed that most of the libraries were engaged for one year for cloud computing technology, but in future all libraries will be fully equipped with the technology. This technology is used for enhancing library services. Policy/privacy statements are most critical issues for selecting cloud computing vendors. Community and Software as a Services (SasS) models are widely used for cloud computing. This study will be helpful to find different views and insights of libraries which are connected to the cloud computing technology. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
