Resumen:<metaname="validationschema"content="http: www.w3.org="" xhtml="" xhtml1-strict.xsd="" />The Collins Companies makes its money by lumbering around and gathering dust -- sawdust, that is. The company operates a group of forest product divisions that include four sawmills capable of producing more than 250 million board feet of lumber annually. The group manufactures lumber, veneer logs and flooring, pine particleboard, and TruWood brand siding and trim. It harvests wood from forests in California, Oregon, and Pennsylvania, using hardwood species such as ash, oak, maple, black cherry, poplar, and basswood, and softwood species including white fir, incense cedar, and three varieties of pine. The business has been family-owned since its inception in 1855.
