Resum:This issue of American Behavioral Scientist seeks to provide an overview of the ways in which computers are used in the social sciences. Its main orientation is to the disciplines of psychology, sociology, political science, anthropology, economics, and education. But the articles and the issues they raise are equally important to biology and the life sciences, linguistics and speech, public administration and business management, and to geography and others.
