Resumen:Computer Science Corp. (CSC), Falls Church, Va., is being awarded a ceiling amount $27.8 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite- quantity contract to provide support for the MK 41 vertical launching system. Taskings will include system safety analysis of computing systems, computer program development for maintenance, verification of validation of computer programs, fleet maintenance/in-service engineering, and systems engineering. Work will be performed in Fredericksburg, Va., and is expected to be completed by May 2004. Contract funds in the amount of $252,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured in the Commerce Business Daily and via the internet with two offers received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Div., Dahlgren, Va., is the contracting activity (N00178-99-D-2030). GEC-Marconi, Rockville, Md., is being awarded a ceiling amount $23.3 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide support for the MK 41 vertical launching system. Taskings will include system safety analysis of computing systems, computer program development for maintenance, verification of validation of computer programs, fleet maintenance/in-service engineering, and systems engineering.
