| Resumen: | La siguiente investigación conduce una reflexión patrimonial en torno a la memoria e identidad del barrio obrero de San Eugenio en una discusión de temáticas urbanas y arquitectónicas que protagonizan el rol del deporte como gestor y activador de la comunidad. Desde el reconocimiento de la significativa influencia sociocultural del Club Deportivo Ferroviarios en las dinámicas barriales, iniciativa impulsada en un principio por la Empresa de Ferrocarriles del Estado (EFE), y la revisión de la desvinculada escena urbana que se produjo posteriormente debido a su decaimiento y destrucción; se resuelve la posibilidad de demostrar que la congregación deportiva y la restitución de sus recintos característicos son una alternativa proyectual para la recuperación y reactivación de la memoria colectiva del barrio que condicionarían también nuevos espacios de recreación e identificación.La propuesta de solución arquitectónica se consolida en la comprensión de estos lugares deportivos como kanchas, siendo éste un término que representa la cualidad de estos espacios vacíos como superficies que admiten múltiples actividades y que protagonizan la funcionalidad de sus límites como bordes vivos de actividades populares. El reconocimiento de la indudable huella en el terreno del antiguo estadio del club, sienta las bases de la reconstrucción de este perímetro programático como una kancha para el barrio que busca volver a incorporar la importante participación del antiguo recinto en el relato de San Eugenio. The following investigation conducts a heritage reflection around the memory and identity of the working-class neighborhood of San Eugenio in a discussion of urban and architectural themes that star in the role of sport as a manager and activator of the community. From the recognition of the significant socio-cultural influence of the Ferroviarios Sports Club on neighborhood dynamics, an initiative initially promoted by the State Railway Company (EFE), and the review of the disconnected urban scene that occurred later due to its decline and destruction; The possibility of demonstrating that the sports congregation and the restitution of its characteristic venues are a design alternative for the recovery and reactivation of the collective memory of the neighborhood that would also condition new recreation and identification spaces is resolved.The architectural solution proposal is consolidated in the understanding of these sports venues as kanchas, this being a term that represents the quality of these empty spaces as surfaces that admit multiple activities and that feature the functionality of their limits as living edges of popular activities. The recognition of the undoubted mark on the land of the old club stadium lays the foundations for the reconstruction of this programmatic perimeter as a kancha for the neighborhood that seeks to re-incorporate the important participation of the old venue in the story of San Eugenio. |
