| 520 | 3 | |a This work offers the study and critical edition of a poem by Juan Manrique included in the Valerio de las estorias escolásticas y de España, by Diego Rodríguez de Almela. The edition is based on the incunabula printed in Murcia in 1487, by Lope de la Roca, although other manuscripts and printed testimonies close to this edition are taken into consideration. The poetry of Juan Manrique, forgotten and destined to remain in the shadow of Valerio, stands as a panegyric not only addressed to Rodríguez de Almela, but also to Alfonso de Cartagena, bishop of Burgos. Este trabajo ofrece el estudio y edición crítica de un poema de Juan Manrique incluido en el Valerio de las estorias escolásticas y de España, de Diego Rodríguez de Almela. La edición parte del incunable impreso en Murcia en 1487, por Lope de la Roca, aunque se tienen en consideración otros testimonios manuscritos e impresos cercanos a esta edición. La poesía de Juan Manrique, olvidada y destinada a permanecer a la sombra del Valerio, se erige como un panegírico no solo dirigido a Rodríguez de Almela, sino también a Alfonso de Cartagena, obispo de Burgos. | |
