| Abstrakt: | La presente tesis investiga cómo el atrio, en su condición pública, suple la necesidad de algún componente urbano típico de la ciudad (calle, plaza, parque, etc.), ofreciendo una posible solución a la problemática del aislado habitar contemporáneo. Para ello, la tipología del atrio es cuestionada desde sus principios para proponer un nuevo modo de habitar que promueva la cohesión social y genere un nuevo colectivo desde la participación activa con la comunidad. Haciendo uso de la investigación y análisis histórico de la tipología del atrio, se rastrean sus orígenes hasta la tipología del patio y su condición doméstica, asumiendo una postura crítica ante la pérdida de esta condición íntima en favor del habitar público del edificio-ciudad. Los capítulos presentan una reflexión sobre esta transformación histórica, distinguiendo entre atrio y patio y analizando las dinámicas de uso en casos aplicados. Finalmente, la tesis culmina con una propuesta de proyecto que responde ante las reflexiones planteadas en el documento, abriendo la discusión teórica sobre los alcances de la propuesta y su aplicabilidad para reformular las dinámicas del habitar contemporáneo. This thesis investigates how the atrium, in its public condition, meets the need for some typical urban component of the city (street, square, park, etc.), offering a possible solution to the problem of isolated contemporary living. To this end, the typology of the atrium is questioned from its principles to propose a new way of living that promotes social cohesion and generates a new collective from active participation with the community. Using research and historical analysis of the typology of the atrium, its origins are traced back to the typology of the patio and its domestic condition, assuming a critical stance towards the loss of this intimate condition in favor of the public habitation of the city-building. The chapters present a reflection on this historical transformation, distinguishing between atrium and patio and analyzing the dynamics of use in applied cases. Finally, the thesis culminates with a project proposal that responds to the reflections raised in the document, opening the theoretical discussion on the scope of the proposal and its applicability to reformulate the dynamics of contemporary living. |
