The program runs in AutoCAD environment. AutoSurf is used to model the surface which is going to be painted. The surface data and the painting parameters are used to prepare the robot program in programming language of Fanuc Arc Mate Sr. Robot with R-G2 Controller. An interactive program module is developed to input and/or to determine the painting parameters. Robot program is downloaded to the robot for spray painting. A set of experiments are conducted to determine the relationships among the paint flowrate, paint tank pressure and nozzle opening valve position of the spray gun. |
