Resumen:Conference Title: 2024 IEEE International Conference on Power, Electrical, Electronics and Industrial Applications (PEEIACON)Conference Start Date: 2024, Sept. 12 Conference End Date: 2024, Sept. 13 Conference Location: Rajshahi, BangladeshMechanical Arms can be employed as Collaborative Robots (Cobots) to carry out Pick and Place operations, Machine Parts Assembly in Industries, Material Removal, Precise Robotic Welding, Part Transfer and Machine Tending, Painting, various Medical Purposes, Military Applications like Bomb Defusing, Security Inspection and many other tasks. The goal of this study is to create a robotic arm that can be gesture controlled to mimic the motion of a human arm, using the Arduino, by selecting appropriate components, including the Arduino microcontroller, servo motors, and gesture recognition sensors such as flex sensors and gyroscopes. This study also highlights the programming aspect by outlining the development of Arduino code to interpret and analyze the sensor data and generate corresponding servo control commands. Finally, potential challenges and scopes for further development, such as refining gesture recognition accuracy and implementing more complex movements were addressed.
