| Resumen: | Conference Title: 2024 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC)Conference Start Date: 2024, Nov. 17 Conference End Date: 2024, Nov. 20 Conference Location: Bali, IndonesiaA novel design of Ku-Ka dual-band dualpolarized shared-aperture antenna with broadband and high radiation efficiency is introduced in this paper. By using a dielectric-loaded rectangular open waveguide as the radiating element, the design achieves broad bandwidth, high radiation efficiency, and compact size. The Ku-Ka dual-band radiating element employs a layered stacking structure to enable dualband shared-aperture radiation. Orthogonal excitation is used to achieve dual-polarized feeding. The antenna array provides 4 GHz bandwidth in the Ku band and 2 GHz bandwidth in the Ka band, offering high radiation efficiency and dual-polarized capability. |
