| Resumen: | The Peruvian financial system has grown in recent years, which implied that the financial institutions have been acquiring greater specialization as well as these activities. They have gradually moved away from traditional banking model, consisting of the intermediation of funds between savers and credit takers, to focus on the provision of products and specialized financial services that require a financial infrastructure in particular. The main drivers of this change has been the lifting of the level of demand from customers, the increase in competition, the growth of the banking system, the growth of goods and services as non-banking (cards, collections, etc.) and the increasing use of electronic channels of access, among others. The Peru has a special financial system, you will find a variety of companies that are developing the activity of intermediation based also on the diversity of regions, customers and users of the services provided. Companies of the financial system need to able to obtain and manage finance professionals and lead the Organization's financial strategy, in second place have the tools for the analysis of credits, providing a solid formation of banking instruments, but also the Peruvian financial micro sector now faces a series of challenges, including pressures on profitability, Since the strong competition for the microfinance market has pushed down interest rates, factors such as the slowdown of credit and saturation of some markets also played an important role in this decline. |
