520 3 |a The rapid development of the industrial revolution in the Victorian era had a destructive impact on the natural ecological environment. In this paper, neural network-based lexical and syntactic analysis, natural language generation, and other techniques are used to automatically analyze literary works of the period. Character clustering is based on the K-means algorithm. Taking Dickens’s Hard Times as an example, the purity of its clustering reaches up to 0.719. From the perspective of ecological and ethical consciousness trichotomy, writers of this period, such as Emily Bronte, Charles Dickens, Thomas Hardy, etc., have provided detailed descriptions of the destruction of natural ecology, the alienation of social ecology among people, and the distortion of the spiritual ecology of human beings by industrialization in their works. Based on a series of characters, writers of this period re-examine the relationship between human beings and nature, expecting to awaken human beings’ awareness of ecological protection by returning to nature, and to control the natural ecological crisis and the social and spiritual ecological crisis it brings.
