Más allá del objeto-droga: ¿Cómo acercarse al campo de las (a)dicciones?

| Resumen: | Si bien la presente propuesta destaca que el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas es una realidad que va en aumento y es imperativo actuar sobre ello, es imprescindible cuestionar más allá de los saberes prevalecientes que giran en torno a los avatares propios de la condición humana. El estudio de las adicciones pone de manifiesto la necesidad de centrar la investigación en torno al sujeto, sus significantes, su cuerpo y su historia. Desde la mirada clínica, no aludimos únicamente al “uso problemático de sustancias”, tal como los manuales psiquiátricos pretenden categorizar una particular experiencia humana; ni tampoco al tipo de droga o la frecuencia en que se despliega el consumo del objeto en cuestión. Al contrario, se intenta pensar y re-pensar el significado simbólico que confiere este uso subjetivo del objeto en el aparato psíquico y las implicaciones que tiene en los lazos con los otros. Con el fin de poder plantear algunos lineamientos y producir nuevas preguntas, el propósito de este estudio es abordar el fenómeno de las adicciones desde los profesionales de salud mental y sus experiencias diagnosticando o tratando a sujetos clasificados con el “Trastorno por Uso de Sustancias”. Empero, no abarcará problemáticas tales como la rehabilitación o intervenciones para ayudar a superarlo; de igual manera, el foco de este trabajo se basa en los lineamientos del psicoanálisis sobre el fenómeno de las adicciones desde los escritos de Sigmund Freud, hasta las elaboraciones de Jacques Lacan yotros psicoanalistas contemporáneos. While this proposal highlights that the use of psychoactive substances is a growing reality and that action is imperative, it is essential to question beyond the prevailing knowledge that revolves around the vicissitudes of the human condition.The study of addictions highlights the need to center research on the subject, their signifiers, their body, and their history. From a clinical perspective, we do not refer solely to "problematic substance use," as psychiatric manuals attempt to categorize a particular human experience; nor to the type of drug or the frequency with which the object in question is consumed. On the contrary, we attempt to consider and rethink the symbolic meaning that this subjective use of the object confers on the psychic apparatus and the implications it has on relationships with others. In order to establish guidelines and generate new questions, the purpose of this study is to address the phenomenon of addiction from the perspective of mental health professionals and their experiences diagnosing or treating individuals classified as having Substance Use Disorders. However, it will not cover issues such as rehabilitation or interventions to help overcome them; similarly, the focus of this work is based on psychoanalytic approaches to the phenomenon of addiction, from the writings of Sigmund Freud to the works of Jacques Lacan and other contemporary psychoanalysts. |
