| Resumo: | Dolgozatomban megvizsgáltam a gall társadalmi és politikai egységeket, és bemutattam, hogy a szakirodalomban milyen vélemények jelentek meg a domus, a familia, a pagusés a civitas fogalmak kapcsán.A familia és a domus esetében egyetértettem azzal a szakirodalmi állásponttal, hogy ez a két kifejezés valószínűleg a rokonságot takarhatja, és hogy ezeket a társadalom egyik legfontosabb alapegységének tekinthetjük, ugyanakkor e két fogalom politikai egységként történő értelmezését nem tartottam kellően megalapozottnak. Emellett nem értettem egyet azzal a szakirodalmi értelmezéssel, mely szerint a familia és a domus fogalmakba beletartoznának a cliensek is.
