This article examines the role of photojournalism in Argentina’s democratic transition, focusing on the works of Eduardo Gil and Eduardo Longoni. Through the documentation of the "Siluetazo" and the coverage of La Tablada's takeover, it explores how photography records and reinterprets historical events, serving as both testimony and a political tool. The study discusses the evolution of truth in photographic images and its crisis in the digital era. Finally, it addresses the contemporary challenges of photojournalism in times of misinformation, artificial intelligence, and shifting discourses on memory and human rights. | |
