Se parte de un enfoque cualitativo para analizar las interacciones entre docentes y estudiantes, tanto en contextos académicos como cotidianos, abordando aspectos de convivencia, resolución de conflictos y significación de los espacios escolares. El estudio identifica cómo las prácticas comunicativas producen, reproducen o limitan valores democráticos, destacando tensiones entre estructuras normativas y formas alternativas de comunicación promovidas por la comunidad educativa. Asimismo, compara las perspectivas de estudiantes y docentes sobre la democracia, evidenciando diferencias en su comprensión y aplicación.
