Resumen:Sheet metal forming is a crucial technique in industries like automotive and aerospace, but springback during forming significantly impacts part accuracy and production efficiency. Advances in computer technology and finite element (FE) simulation have enabled better prediction and control of springback, heavily reliant on accurate constitutive models. This study evaluates the recently developed Generalized Anisotropic Distortional Hardening (G-ADH) model, integrated with the analytical Poly6-18p yield function, for predicting springback in TRIP1180 steel. The G-ADH model demonstrates high accuracy in capturing the Bauschinger effect and cyclic hardening behavior. Implemented in ABAQUS/Standard via a user material subroutine (UMAT), the model’s predictions align well with the U-draw/bending experimental data, confirming its effectiveness in springback prediction.
