Aralarında hem ses hem de anlam ilgisi bulunur. Diğer dillere nazaran Türkçede sıklıkla kullanılan ikilemelerden bazıları artık kalıplaşmış durumdadır. Sözcük grupları başlığı altında değerlendirilen ikilemeler bu nedenle tek bir kelime niteliği taşırlar. Çok eski çağlardan beri Türk dilinde kalıplaşacak kadar sık ve uzun süre kullanılan bu dil unsurları Türkçeye zenginlik katmış, dilin doğal akıcılığını ve etkileyiciliğini arttırmıştır. Günümüzde de hem günlük dilde hem de edebî metinlerde yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadırlar. Ad soylu olanları cümle içerisinde isim, sıfat ve zarf görevinde kullanılarak anlam ve duygu yoğunluğunu arttırıp cümleye çağrışım kazandırırlar. Eylem soylu olan ikilemeler ise anlamı hareket, iş ve oluş bakımından zenginleştirir, cümleye güçlü bir anlatım katarlar. Bu çalışmada Hamdi Hasan’ın Makedonya Türkçelerince Söylenen Mâniler adlı Kuzey Makedonya Türklerinden derlenmiş 2255 mâninin bulunduğu eser taranmış ve bu mânilerde geçen ikilemeler incelenerek alandaki söz varlığı ortaya konulup bu dil unsurunun Kuzey Makedonya Türklerince konuşulan ağızlardaki durumu tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Reduplications are linguistic structures in Turkish that are formed by placing two identical, opposite, or similar words to add meanings such as plurality, swiftness, certainty, or approximation to noun-based and verb-based words. These structures exhibit both phonetic and semantic connections. Compared to other languages, Turkish language makes frequent use of reduplications, some of which have become idiomatic over time. As they are classified under the category of word groups, they function as single lexical units. These linguistic elements have been used so frequently and for such a long time in the Turkish language that they have become deeply embedded in its structure, enriching its lexicon while enhancing its natural fluency and expressive power. Even today, reduplications are widely utilized both in everyday speech and in literary texts. Noun-based reduplications function as nouns, adjectives, or adverbs within a sentence, enhancing semantic depth and emotional intensity while enriching the sentence with connotative meaning. Verb-based reduplications, on the other hand, expand the meaning in terms of action, process, and state, thereby contributing to a more powerful and dynamic expression. This study examines the presence and usage of reduplications in the collection Mâniler as Spoken by North Macedonian Turks by Hamdi Hasan, which contains 2,255 folk couplets compiled from North Macedonian Turkish speakers. By analyzing the reduplications found in these folk verses, the research aims to document the lexical richness of the dialects spoken by Macedonian Turks and to determine the status of this linguistic feature within these vernaculars. | |
