| Resumen: | This postgraduate dissertation examines the ever-evolving field of forensic investigation within cloud computing environments, in the broader context of digital forensics. As cloud computing is becoming a cornerstone of modern digital infrastructure, new challenges have emerged that demand modifications to existing traditional methodologies. The research analyzes the technical, legal, and organizational dimensions of conducting forensic investigations in cloud environments. It explores issues such as multitenancy, data dispersion, provider cooperation, and jurisdiction, comparing them with traditional digital forensic models. Through case studies and the evaluation of existing tools, it highlights the significant lack of readiness in the field and proposes solution frameworks that combine both technical approaches and harmonization with current legal standards. The study emphasizes the necessity of adapting forensic investigation methods to ensure data integrity and legal compliance, while also underlining the continuous evolution of the cloud forensics landscape. |
