| 520 | 3 | |a This project intended to improve the Order-to-Cash process of a company that sells construction materials as well as extend the BPM discipline impact. The execution of this project will allow to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the company, making it more prepared to compete in the retail and construction industries. The BPM Lifecycle Framework and the Bizagi software were used to perform simulations. The results of the collected data, the designed models and potential scenarios indicate promising outcomes if the company automatizes some of its manual procedures as well as tries to revolutionize the payment timelines. Consequently, it is expected that the company will be able to optimize its resources in a way that customer relationships will improve while reducing employees’ workload. Additionally, the study allows to promote BPM into new industries as well as demonstrate that the application of this knowledge to businesses has a wide range of benefits. | |
