This also affects the economies and social progress around the world. Traffic jams happen when the speed of the vehicles on the streets decrease due to interactions between the vehicles. This paper is intended to present a MATLAB-based simulation approach for dynamic flow optimization to reduce congestion in urban centers. The objective of this optimization is to alleviate the congestion, reduce accidents, and emission of environmental pollutants due to long queues.
