| 520 | 3 | |a Más de 75 años después de la firma de la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos (1948), siguen existiendo discriminaciones enraizadas que nos invitan a investigar sobre la educación que recibimos los adultos de hoy en nuestro pasado reciente. Centrándonos en la discriminación contra la mujer en el sector educativo y audiovisual, este estudio propone analizar la representación de los personajes femeninos en un conjunto de producciones reconocidas internacionalmente y cuya temática se centra en explicar la evolución de la humanidad: la franquicia de las series de animación Érase una vez... de Albert Barillé. Así, este objeto de estudio abarca el análisis de todos los episodios de Érase una vez... el hombre (1978); Érase una vez... el espacio (1982); Érase una vez... la vida (1987); Érase una vez... las Américas (1991); Érase una vez... los inventores (1994); Érase una vez...los exploradores (1996); e Il était une fois... Notre Terre (2008). Basándonos en los guiones originales digitalizados y haciendo uso de procesadores de texto, se han contabilizado las palabras dialogadas de los personajes femeninos y masculinos, con el fin de contrastar el porcentaje de participación en cada ficción. Los resultados obtenidos muestran una clara desigualdad de representación entre ambos sexos, evidenciando el papel secundario de la mujer en la narrativa histórica. Como conclusión, podemos apreciar además que este problema trasciende a estos títulos ya que su discurso educativo ha sido validado internacionalmente. More than 75 years after the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948), there are still deeprooted discriminations that invite us to investigate on the education that today's adults received in their recent past. Focusing on discrimination against women in the educational and audiovisual sector, this study proposes to analyse the representation of female characters in a set of internationally recognised productions whose subject matter focuses on explaining the evolution of humanity: the animated series franchise Once upon a time... by Albert Barillé. Thus, this object of study covers the analysis of all the episodes of Once upon a time... Man (1978); Once upon a time... Space (1982); Once upon a time... Life (1987); Once upon a time... the Americas (1991); Once upon a time... the Discoverers (1994); Once upon a time... the Explorers (1996); and Once upon a time... the Earth (2008). Based on the original digitised scripts and using word processors, we have counted the words of dialogue of the male and female characters in order to contrast the percentage of participation in each fiction. The results obtained show a clear inequality of representation between both sexes. In conclusion, we can also see that this problem transcends these products, as their educational discourse has been validated internationally. | |
