In turn, the author presents that understanding the paternal metaphors used by the apostle Paul are essential to understanding his thinking about fatherhood and paternal care in a more coherent way not only in the context of the New Testament church but also for the contemporary church with its respective implications and applications. ¿Qué fuentes teológicas, doctrinales y culturales definieron el pensamiento sobre la paternidad y el cuidado paternal de Pablo y su rol como padre espiritual en la iglesia neotestamentaria? El estudio presenta el concepto de paternidad y su respectivo rol en las diferentes culturas del antiguo cercano oriente, que pudieron influenciar en el pensamiento de Pablo sobre la paternidad. A su vez, el autor presenta que entender las metáforas paternales utilizadas por el apóstol Pablo es esencial para comprender su pensamiento sobre la paternidad y el cuidado paternal de manera más coherente, no sólo en el contexto de la iglesia neotestamentaria sino también para la iglesia contemporánea, con sus respectivas implicaciones y aplicaciones. | |
