| Abstrákta: | Through a course structured in three moments - ambiguity(s), reflection and matter - investigations are conceived on the nature of architecture and art and thematic pliers between these disciplines are analysed, (themes) supported by the architect Livio Vacchini (Locarno, Suíça, 1933 - Basileia, Suíça, 2007) and the artist Sol LeWitt (Hartford, EUA, 1928 - Nova Iorque, EUA, 2007). Thus, a refletion and investigation on the ar(t)chitectural domian is developed, questioning about the role and power of art in architectural creation and production. To this effect, mental (and personal) constructions are formed, supported by diverse theoretical fundamentals, focusing on the nature of art and architecture, on the trajectories and productions of the authors under study and on the interrelationships of the creative universes. The final realization of this gradual exploration (from the general to the particular), the matter, culminates in the diffusion and analysis of three examples- synthesis - projects by the architect alongside works by the artist - and the thematic pliers of these examples, which are the culmulative fruit of the reflective and theoretical investigative journey and prove that architecture can be seen as looked at and that ir is art in itself. |
