| 520 | 3 | |a La investigación aborda la segregación física producto de la Autopista Acceso Sur en el sector de El Castillo, un conjunto de poblaciones en a la comuna de La Pintana, en donde, en busca de soluciones a nivel metropolitano, se desintegra una trama urbana existente y se rompen los lazos sociales y actividades cotidianas.Para ello, la tesis se centra en definir el efecto barrera, concepto que engloba las consecuencias físicas que generan las autopistas en la ciudad, desglosándolo en indicadores a evaluar en el caso de estudio y así comprender las necesidades en específico del barrio. Con esto se busca encontrar y aplicar estrategias que no sólo atenúen la segregación, si no que sean una oportunidad de desarrollo de El Castillo.Por tanto, se estudia la mitigación, como la compensación urbana a la segregación física que causa la autopista como borde, y la articulación, no como la reconstrucción de una trama urbana, sino en la oportunidad del desarrollo de nodos generados en los cruces de esta nueva vialidad.Así, el objetivo de la investigación es la elaboración de un proyecto urbano que genere un nuevo borde para El Castillo hacia la autopista, que, a través del diseño, mitigue el efecto barrera en El Castillo y lo articule con el resto de la ciudad, mejorando las condiciones de vida del sector. The research addresses the physical segregation as a result of the South Access Highway in the El Castillo sector, a group of towns in the commune of La Pintana, where, in search of solutions at the metropolitan level, an existing urban fabric is disintegrated and social ties and daily activities are broken.To this end, the thesis focuses on defining the barrier effect, a concept that encompasses the physical consequences generated by highways in the city, breaking it down into indicators to evaluate in the case study and thus understand the specific needs of the neighborhood. This seeks to find and apply strategies that not only mitigate segregation, but are also an opportunity for the development of El Castillo.Therefore, mitigation is studied, as urban compensation for the physical segregation caused by the highway as an edge, and articulation, not as the reconstruction of an urban fabric, but in the opportunity for the development of nodes generated at the intersections of this new road.Thus, the objective of the research is the development of an urban project that generates a new edge for El Castillo towards the highway, which, through design, mitigates the barrier effect in El Castillo and articulates it with the rest of the city, improving the living conditions of the sector. | |
