| 520 | 3 | |a Resumen: La presente investigación titulada como "La situación económica y su incidencia en la deserción universitaria durante la Pandemia COVID-19" tuvo como objetivo establecer los factores que inciden en la deserción universitaria en estudiantes de las carreras de Trabajo Social, Economía, Derecho y Psicología de la Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí, de la misma manera conocer cómo afecta la situación económica en los estudiantes. La educación universitaria representa una necesidad primordial de toda sociedad que tenga como finalidad el desarrollo y crecimiento profesional, en la actualidad la situación económica es una de las faltas que se presenta en los estudiantes abarcando consecuencias de deserción universitaria en implicaciones a niveles personales, sociales e institucionales. El enfoque metodológico fue mixto de tipo descriptivo, la técnica cuantitativa fue la encuesta y como instrumento un cuestionario de preguntas cerradas dirigidas a los estudiantes que han desertado de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales, Derecho y Bienestar y la técnica cualitativa fue una entrevista estructurada que tuvo como instrumento un cuestionario de 10 preguntas abiertas dirigidas a la Trabajadora Social del Departamento de Bienestar Estudiantil. Se concluye que la situación económica afecta negativamente a la deserción universitaria y las causas están alineados al poco interés en la carrera, conflictos familiares, ambiente poco motivante o estudiantes que tienen responsabilidades con hijos. The present research entitled " The Economic Situation and its Impact on College Dropout during the Pandemic COVID-19" aimed to establish the factors that affect college dropout in students of the careers of Social Work, Economics, Law and Psychology, ULEAM, in the same way to know how the economic situation affects students, which allowed to analyze the causes and consequences of college dropout. University education represents a primordial need of any society whose purpose is the development and professional growth, at present the economic situation is one of the faults that are presented in the students covering consequences of university desertion which can have implications at personal, social and institutional levels. The methodological approach was mixed, of explanatory type, the quantitative technique was the survey and as an instrument a questionnaire of open and closed questions in a personal way directed to the students who have dropped out of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Law and Welfare and the qualitative technique was an interview of 10 questions directed to the Social Worker of the Department of Student Welfare. It is concluded that the economic situation negatively affects college dropout and the causes are aligned to low interest in the career, family conflicts, unmotivating environment or students who have responsibilities with children. | |
