This dissertation takes a closer look into one of the teams at a company that, due to confidentiality reasons, we will be addressing as Company X. At this moment, its software development process is less mature as it could be, which causes time to be wasted and slows the development process. This dissertation analyzes the current process and tailors a plan to team’s needs by adopting Scrum, where key concerns and issues are addressed without requiring extra resources. Also, a short analysis of how liveness could improve the key activities of the team’s software development is idealized. This project met the set expectations and delivered (1) state of the art on the topics of agile software development processes, live software development, and related work; (2) a suggestion of a software development process for adoption by the team; (3) roadmap for the software development implementation, tailored to the team’s needs; and, finally, (4) analysis of the key activities of the team’s software development that would benefit from live software development. The results are evaluated from a qualitative perspective. The very positive feedback from the team regarding the proposed solution determined this project to be a success.
