| Resumen: | Instead of relying solely on static tutorials or pre-recorded videos, instructors could give students access to an interactive AI partner that demonstrates how experienced designers tackle common modeling challenges, then lets learners experiment and get immediate feedback. Because the AI model has effectively watched tens of thousands of design sessions, it can expose learners to a broad range of modeling strategies and highlight efficient approaches that might otherwise take years of practice to discover. By lowering the barrier to entry, the researchers hope to make CAD tools more accessible to people who do not have the time or resources for extensive formal training. Designers could hand off tedious but critical tasks—such as reproducing similar features across multiple variants, cleaning up sketches, or rebuilding imported geometry—to an AI that already knows how to operate their preferred software. Because the agent uses the same interface that human users do, it can, in principle, be adapted to different CAD packages without deep integration work. |
