520 3 |a Resumen: Este artículo ofrece una aproximación a la marginalidad en el décimo exemplum de El conde Lucanor, denominado "De lo que contesció a un omne que por pobreza et mengua de otra vianda comía atramuzes". Se detiene en la importancia del concepto y sus implicaciones dentro de dicho exemplum. Para ello, se muestra una lectura de este atendiendo a sus características y a las del pensamiento de don Juan Manuel, enfocando El conde Lucanor como obra en la cual se pueden rastrear las ideas de este noble de los siglos xiii y xiv. La marginalidad es abordada como noción aprovechable de cara al estudio de El conde Lucanor y que puede aplicarse a otros textos del corpus juanmanuelino. Se exploran claves del exemplum número diez que lo conectan con las aspiraciones de don Juan Manuel en el marco de la sociedad de su tiempo, lo cual supone la asociación con conceptos como los de prestigio, privilegio, poder o pobreza. En el exemplum se aprecia una profundización en el margen como espacio simbólico que tiene una relevante complejidad. Este artículo presenta un acercamiento a un exemplum menos tratado que otros de los que se agrupan en El conde Lucanor. This article offers an approach to marginality in the tenth exemplum of El conde Lucanor, titled "De lo que contesció a un omne que por pobreza et mengua de otra vianda comía atramuzes". It focuses on the significance of the concept and its implications within this exemplum. To this end, it provides a reading of this that considers its characteristics and those of Don Juan Manuel's thought, viewing El conde Lucanor as a work in which the ideas of this 13thand 14th-century nobleman can be traced. Marginality is addressed as a concept that proves valuable for studying El conde Lucanor and is applicable to other texts within Don Juan Manuel's corpus. Key aspects of the tenth exemplum are explored, connecting it to Don Juan Manuel's aspirations within the context of the society of his time, which involves associations with notions such as prestige, privilege, power or poverty. In the exemplum an exploration of the margin as a symbolic space with notable complexity is observed. This article presents an approach to an exemplum that has received less attention than others grouped in El conde Lucanor.
