Whakarāpopotonga:This paper proposes an approach to interpreting a response an answer to a test task of an open form in a system for computer-aided testing of knowledge. The notion of a sense's standard is introduced; and the method for building it based on the set of semantic equivalent phrases of natural language and use of sense's standards for compression of a textual knowledge base are described.[PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
