Resumen:RESUMEN: Este trabajo de investigación se basa sobre las manifestaciones culturales, artísticas y literarias del municipio de Ciudad Barrios en el departamento de San Miguel, documentando las tradiciones, costumbres, creencias, mitología, rasgos lingüísticos y otras manifestaciones que forman parte del patrimonio e identidad cultural de la comunidad; por otra parte, resalta la actualidad y los cambios que se han realizado con la nueva generación.
ABSTRACT: This research work is based on the cultural, artistic and literary manifestations of the municipality of Ciudad Barrios in the department of San Miguel, documenting the traditions, customs, beliefs, mythology, linguistic features and other manifestations that are part of the heritage and cultural identity of community; On the other hand, it highlights the current situation and the changes that have been made with the new generation.
