| Abstract: | RESUMEN: El presente trabajo es sobre las conductas sexuales de riesgo en las mujeres entre 18-40 años. Objetivo determinar las conductas sexuales de riesgo que practican las mujeres entre 18-40 años que consultan en el primer nivel de atención de salud salvadoreño, en las unidades de salud El Guanaste, Anamorós y Llano Los Patos, durante el año 2023. Metodología: estudio con enfoque cuantitativo, tipo descriptivo, diseño prospectivo y transversal, muestreo probabilístico y tamaño de muestra 321 distribuidas proporcionalmente en las tres unidades de salud donde se realizó la investigación. El cuestionario tenía forma de lista de cotejo para determinar las conductas sexuales de riesgo de las mujeres y así se obtuvieron los resultados según los objetivos propuestos. Después de haber realizado la recolección de datos se presentaron los resultados según objetivos y la prueba de la hipótesis descriptiva. Los hallazgos más importantes son: los rangos de edad de las mujeres son diferentes por unidad de salud, la mayoría son solteras y del área rural. Las conductas sexuales de riesgo practicadas varían según cada lugar incluido en el estudio. La frecuencia con que se practican es: Relaciones sexuales sin protección (86.0%), Inicio de relaciones sexuales a temprana edad (76.6%), Parejas ocasionales (59.2%), Múltiples parejas sexuales (29.0%), La práctica de poligamia (11.2%). Y, por último, la tenencia de relaciones sexuales a cambio de dinero (5.6%). Según los resultados estas prácticas cambian de acuerdo a la edad de las mujeres y que la prueba de hipótesis de trabajo no fue aprobada en su totalidad. ABSTRACT: This work is about risky sexual behaviors in women between 18-40 years old. Objective: to determine the risky sexual behaviors practiced by women between 18-40 years old who consult at the first level of Salvadoran health care, in the El Guanaste, Anamorós and Llano Los Patos health units, during the year 2023. Methodology: study with a quantitative approach, descriptive type, prospective and cross-sectional design, probabilistic sampling and sample size 321 distributed proportionally in the three health units where the research was carried out. The questionnaire was in the form of a checklist to determine the risky sexual behaviors of women and thus the results were obtained according to the proposed objectives. After data collection, the results were presented according to objectives and the test of the descriptive hypothesis. The most important findings are the age ranges of the women are different by health unit, the majority are single and from rural areas. The risky sexual behaviors practiced vary according to each place included in the study. The frequency with which they are practiced is: Unprotected sexual relations (86.0%), Beginning of sexual relations at an early age (76.6%), Occasional partners (59.2%), Multiple sexual partners (29.0%), The practice of polygamy (11.2%). %). And, finally, having sexual relations in exchange for money (5.6%). According to the results, these practices change according to the age of the women and that the working hypothesis test was not approved in its entirety. |
