| 520 | 3 | |a RESUMEN: La automedicación es un componente del autocuidado, el cual es definido como el propio tratamiento de los signos y síntomas de enfermedad que las personas padecen. El objetivo: Determinar cuál es la medicación que hacen las madres hacia la población infantil cuando estos adolecen de infecciones respiratorias agudas y diarreas. Metodología: La investigación tuvo un enfoque cualitativo, transversal y descriptivo que permitió identificar la medicación que tienen las madres con la población infantil en enfermedades como infección respiratoria y diarrea, los datos de cada sujeto representaron un momento en el tiempo. La población estudiada fueron las madres de la población infantil del área geográfica de influencia de las Unidades Comunitarias de Salud Familiar de San Jorge, San Rafael, Joya Ventura a estudiar. La técnica para la recolección de datos fue por medio de una encuesta que constaba de 39 preguntas la cual se realizó a todas las madres que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Tabulación y análisis: Se utilizó el programa Productos Estadísticos y Solución de Servicios (SPSS) en su versión 25.0 del sistema operativo Windows para tabular, graficar y analizar datos. Resultado: tomando la información fidedigna sobre el conocimiento de las prácticas de medicación que las madres brindan a sus hijos durante una infección respiratoria aguda y diarrea, se verificó que sí dan prácticas nocivas para la salud del niño a través del empleo de medicamentos o sustancias se reconoce el mal uso y abuso de dichos tratamientos. Conclusiones: Al realizar la prueba de hipótesis se comprobó que los conocimientos que tienen las madres de la población infantil sobre la medicación es empírico, es decir la información que han venido recopilando tras experiencia o generaciones familiares. | |
