Sumari:The objective of this approach is to recognize the need for the Cerezo Plan, which sets out a scenario for the future of Central America projected until the year 2050, which contributes to overcoming the challenges that the region presents, especially in the current context, where countries Members of the Central American Integration System (SICA) have come together to adopt joint measures to face the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The methodological approach of the study is focused from the analysis of the construction of the scenarios, which is supported by the studies called: "Central American Compass 2021, scenarios and new development approaches", which was carried out in 2012 by the Friedrich Foundation Ebert; and the second is the “Letter for the Future of Central American Integration. October 2020”, which is a proposal from Mr. Vinicio Cerezo, Secretary General of the Central American Integration System.
