Sumari:The objective of this document is to analyze the consequences of the neoliberal model in the Mexican health system and the effects that the 2020 pandemic caused in productive activity in Mexico, as well as the public policies carried out. The interest is to observe the increase in poverty and how it has triggered greater migratory flows. The methodology used is the review of the economic and health indicators published by the Mexican authorities and the World Health Organization, in order to monitor the effects that the pandemic had on Mexican society and the growth of emigration.
