| Čoahkkáigeassu: | Due to the intense traffic crisis in the Metropolitan District of Quito, this group of researchers decided to investigate the current situation of sustainable individual mobility in the city. In order to do so, they have reviewed the information related to the history of transportation in the world, the perspectives of alternatives to mobility using scooters since the last century and the recent appearance, a few years ago, of a wave of electric scooters in the main cities around the world. Finally, the mobility situation in the city of Quito is analyzed and the advantages that would be obtained with the use of this sustainable individual vehicle are considered. |
