Descripción
Sumario:The flow of undocumented Cubans through Mexico was not an issue of particular importance in the relations between the governments of Mexico and Cuba until the nineties of the 20th century, basically for two reasons: 1) because of the association of the Mexican government with the National Foundation Cuban-American since 1992, and 2) for the adoption of the United States wet foot/dry foot immigration policy in 1994-1995 Since then, the Mexican government was caught in the Cuban-American dispute, which produced changes that deteriorated the bilateral relationship. How has the issue of undocumented migration intervened in this new dynamic? Has Mexico's policy and diplomacy towards Cuba changed at the present?
