Yhteenveto:Procesos de construcción sobre las identidades indígenas a través de las políticas educativas: el caso Oxolotán Tabasco” Ethnic group zoque in the state of Tabasco (located in the southeast of Mexico), was impacted by the nationalist and rationalist educational policy from the period of government of Tomás Garrido Canabal (1919-1934), who applied strategies to modernize the rural communities; the article presents a general review on the zoque presence in Tabasco, analyzes the rationalist educational policy, implemented in the 20s and 30s of the 20th century, with the objective of knowing and studying an indigenous population, that was substantially diminished in these years. The work is part of the results of the PHD thesis "Construction processes on indigenous identities through educational policies: The Oxolotán Tabasco case"
