| Whakarāpopototanga: | The present article exposes the main remarkable history events of the Military School of El Salvador, with emphasis in the period when it was recognized as a state higher-education institution (in Spanish, institución de educación superior). To be a part of IES consortium allows the armed forces to bet for the professionalism, in order to have better prepared people in the cognitive, procedural and attitudinal areas. This event occurred within the framework of the commitments undertaken by the Army Forces of El Salvador, since the signing of the Chapultepec Peace Accords. The Bachelor’s degree in Military Administration was created in the year 2000, and it is from the different study plans, based on the functions of teaching, research and social projection, that officers are formed with theoretical and practical knowledge, who should contribute to a social transformation, as civil servants and defenders of the country. |
