| Summary: | The topic of the values and the integral formation of the higher education professional is very broad and encompasses many aspects within the field of educational sciences, but, in the present work, it is delimited or will be focused as a particular aspect of it the integral formation of the university professor, within the framework of the theoretical and practical importance that values have in the integral formation process of future professionals of higher education in El Salvador. In this sense, the present article has as its fundamental objective to carry out an analysis of the theoretical-methodological dimensions of the problem of values and its importance in the comprehensive training of the higher education professional, that is, of the university professor, as one of the fundamental elements in the process of improving the quality of Salvadoran higher education in the face of the challenges presented by the 21st century. |
