| مستخلص: | El personaje protagónico de la obra es Mersé, una mulata joven que por haberse criado con una familia rica de la capital, donde su madre trabajaba como criada, ha adquirido unos modales y una educación que la convierten en un ser "extraño" dentro del solar.
