| Resumen: | Esta investigación analiza la incorporación de la oralidad en el discurso narrativo de cuatro novelas hispanoamericanas de la segunda mitad del siglo XX: Hasta no verte Jesús mío (1969) de Elena Poniatowska, Redoble por Rancas (1970) de Manuel Scorza, Polvo y ceniza (1979) de Eliécer Cárdenas y La mujer habitada (1988) de Gioconda Belli. La mímesis de oralidad en estas obras entendida como la recreación de la lengua hablada en el texto literario se manifiesta tanto como una propuesta estética de renovación del género, así como una expresión del compromiso social de los autores. Sin embargo, la crítica literaria ha enfatizado con frecuencia su dimensión política, argumentando que tal uso de la oralidad responde a un sesgo ideológico de izquierda más que una propuesta estética de ruptura. A partir de un enfoque transdisciplinario que incorpora la lingüística, la literatura y los estudios culturales, esta investigación analiza las novelas seleccionadas a través de tres dimensiones: recreación de una realidad de carácter oral, estrategias narrativas que aproximan las voces del texto literario al lector, y recursos lingüísticos que evocan un registro coloquial. El estudio revela que la mímesis de oralidad no solo cuestiona la representación tradicional de la realidad, sino que también integra en el texto literario tradiciones orales, como el mito, la leyenda y el testimonio. Estas narrativas revitalizan la novela regionalista e indigenista, al tiempo que favorecen el surgimiento de géneros emergentes, como el neoindigenismo y la literatura testimonial. Además, la oralidad confiere autenticidad a las clases sociales marginales, lo que desafía las narrativas hegemónicas y contribuye a una redefinición de la identidad cultural. Esta investigación valida la oralidad como un enfoque teórico pertinente para el análisis literario, pues permite entender cómo la novela crea la ilusión de una voz escrita. This research examines the incorporation of orality into the narrative discourse of four Hispanic American novels from the second half of the 20th century: Hasta no verte Jesús mío (1969) by Elena Poniatowska, Redoble por Rancas (1970) by Manuel Scorza, Polvo y ceniza (1979) by Eliécer Cárdenas, and La mujer habitada (1988) by Gioconda Belli. The mimesis of orality in these works⎯understood as the recreation of spoken language within literary texts⎯, functions both as an aesthetic proposal aimed at renewing the genre and as an expression of the authors' social commitment. However, literary criticism has often emphasized its political dimension, arguing that this use of orality reflects a left-wing ideological bias rather than a genuine aesthetic rupture.Using a transdisciplinary approach that integrates linguistics, literature, and cultural studies, this research analyzes the selected novels through three dimensions: the recreation of oral reality, the narrative strategies that bring the literary voices closer to the reader, and the linguistic resources that evoke a colloquial register. The study reveals that the mimesis of orality not only challenges the traditional representation of reality but also integrates oral traditions, such as myths and testimony, into the literary text. These narratives revitalize the regionalist and indigenist novel, while fostering the emergence of new genres like neo-indigenist novel and testimonial literature. Additionally, orality provides authenticity to the marginalized social classes, challenging hegemonic narratives and reshaping cultural identity. This research validates orality as a relevant theoretical framework for literary analysis, as it highlights how novels create the illusion of a written voice. |
