Descripción
Resumen:This study explored the impact of work-based learning (WBL) on academic performance, life satisfaction, and sense of purpose among high school graduates. Although no significant differences were found in overall GPA or life satisfaction between WBL participants and non-participants, there were notable variations in attendance rates and standardized test performance across different graduation cohorts. Importantly, WBL participants reported a significantly strong sense of direction and purpose in life. The study emphasizes the value of WBL in fostering career readiness and personal fulfillment, while also acknowledging limitations related to sample size and demographic diversity.
