Sumario:For generations before, tests have been used to measure and grade the abilities of learners everywhere. Testing has so far evolved into a thoughtful, well organized process to more accurately grade and assess the possession, comprehension and application of knowledge from learners. Through the study of teaching methodologies, concepts like “evaluation”, “assessment” and “grading” have refined and gained meaningful value to help educators become more focused in the more needed areas. Thanks to the accurate analysis of test results an educator can now more efficiently help learners with different approaches in the concerning areas of learning. This research project has been carried out with the help and cooperation from the Teaching Staff of the Department of Foreign Languages of the University of El Salvador who were kind enough to provide time and resources in the field of test-design, and test implementation. Hopefully, this report’s conclusions and recommendations will be deemed as useful towards their future work, as their contributions and help were to this project’s elaboration.
