The first chapter focuses on personal development with a "Personal Resourcing Questionnaire", guidelines for identifying goals and working systematically toward them, and suggestions for maintaining personal physical, psychological, and mental fitness. The second chapter gives guidance on being a resource to others in the resource teacher's various roles as salesperson/public relations person, communicator/collaborator, team member, liaison, disseminator, and time manager.
